January gave Oasis World Outreach a wonderful mandate, to step into 2008 believing that it is a year of New Beginnings and the entering of New Gates of God's Grace, Goodness, and Glory. In 2008 we believe that God is calling us into new opportunities, into more ministry, and into greater things for the Kingdom of God!
February is a month when we will put our mandate into action, we will sacrifice ourselves, give our hearts to fresh faith, fasting and praying, repositioning ourselves to be used of the Lord. This is an exciting month at the Oasis!
February 11-13 we will united for a corporate time of fasting. This fast is a personal fast, a Daniel Fast, reserving our meals to fruit and vegetables, poultry and fish, no red meats or sweets. We are asking our church family to do what they can, asking God to lead them and to do something fresh in their hearts and our church.
February 25-27 we will gather for a time of revival and renewal with Pastor Kevin White of Rock Christian Center in Sylacauga, AL. Join us nightly at 7:00 PM for these special services.
February is a month of love, let's enlarge our love for God, each other, our church, and our world, during this month we believe you will experience a fresh explosion of the love of Christ!

sacrifice ourselves...that hit something in me. testified Sunday about my disobediance in tything last year and it may me and my wife's home life transparent which led to some humility. But if my testimony enlightened but one person in the blessings of tything, then any and all humility is accepted and worth it. I surely never felt or thought this way before. Must be this Christ- like life I want.
